Story
Babywearing has ancient origins. In the Tirma village of the Surma ethnic group, Nabaa carries her baby on her back, wrapped in a blanket that is used as a baby carrier, called Ankelba. As in other parts of the world, babywearing is used primarily out of necessity until children learn to walk.
