Story
Cormorant fishing, mainly widespread in China and Japan, is a very old art that is now disappearing. Mr. Huang is one of the
few remaining master fishermen in Guilin (China). Started by his older brother, he has been fishing with cormorants since he
was 8 years old. We met at sunset after a hot day in August, in the picturesque setting of limestone mountains reflected in
the Li river, where he was standing on the typical bamboo raft to attract fishes with a lantern.
