Story
The kasbah of Taourirt is one the best preserved kasbahs in Morocco. It was built with mud and straw and it was the fortress of a powerful Berber family, while today it houses a museum. It is located in the outskirts of Ouarzate, where there are the Atlas film studios. In fact the kasbah has been used as setting for many Hollywood movies, such as “The sheltering sky”, “Gladiator” and “Prince of Persia”.
