Story
The Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, known as the Golden Rock, is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Myanmar. There is a magical atmosphere when all the pilgrims with their families settle in the pagoda to sing, pray, feast and camp for the night. Only men can touch and place gold leaves on the sacred rock, while women and children light candles and incense.
